Data Management Consultant
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within banking, we are looking for a Data Management Consultant with strong financial products experience. For this contract position (6 months) based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main tasks in this position are:
- To support the team in providing data services for several front and Back Office systems
- Involvement in project work, supporting the delivery of new systems and system enhancements for the team
- The opportunity to increase your responsibilities on an interregional level in a mid- to long term
Skills and experience you need:
- A solid understanding of financial instruments and assets classes including Fixed Income, equities, derivatives, corporate actions, terms & conditions, reference data and security identifiers (including cross referencing and liking of Issuers and Issues)
- 2+ years' experience of operational, data management experience within an established financial institution, investment bank, fund management organization, in-house data group or data vendor
- Knowledge of vendor data feeds, databases and products that update
- User of Reuters or Bloomberg, MS Excel, Access, and SQL
- Knowledge of data migrations, reconciliation and basic testing
