DATA MANAGEMENT ANALYST(VERITAS, DATA LAKE)WILL IDEALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- You have knowledge of and experience with Datamodelling techniques and you are able conceptual- and to develop logical data models and ensure their consistency.
- You are familiar with data architectures, data warehouses, data integration, data profiling, data retrieval and ETL development and modelling tools and data dictionaries.
- You are familiar with technologies and best practices in Data Warehousing, Big Data and Business Intelligence, eg. In the used tooling such as IBM Info Sphere (Information Governance Catalogue, Data Stage), Pure Data Analytics (Netezza), Hadoop, Cognos.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English spoken and written.

DATA MANAGEMENT ANALYST(VERITAS, DATA LAKE)RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Set your conceptual and logical data models and define standard definitions for the data attributes and business terms, based on the IBM Banking Data Warehouse (BDW) Model and the "Esperanto", the data definitions for the entire Group.
- Tune your definitions on the requirements of data users, data owners and other stakeholders.
- Are you a sparring partner for IT specialists for the translation of the conceptual/logical data model to the physical data model or you yourself are able to make this translation.
- Set your fixed requirements for data quality, data security, data privacy and other relevant aspects of the data attributes/business terms.
- Put your models and data definitions in the data dictionary and maintenance as part of this meta-data management.
- Enter your established data models and you monitor the consistency and quality of these.
- Guide and coach others on the field of data management, such as data stewards in the business domains, and encourage your organization to be "data-minded."
- Initiate your improvements in data management, imagine modelling guidelines and standards, and you support the organization of data management and data governance processes.
