Data/Information Modelling Expert

For a client in Brussels, I am looking for a Data/Information Modelling Expert in the Air Traffic Management industry to work on a long term contract. You will be part of a team of experts who are working in the Flight Information Exchange Model department

Responsabilities:

- Contribute to the development of the Flight Information Exchange Model and other information and data models
- Ensure the correct use of the specific Information Exchange Model and other information and data models in the system information manangement platform
- Develop and maintain Physical Data Models that derive from the Flight Information Exchange Model (UML and XMI schema modelling)
- Implement Scripting languages such as JavaScript or VBScripting

Skills required:

- Excellent knowledge of UML (5-10 years)
- Experience in modelling large scale models with XMI based tools (preferably Sparx Enterprise Architecture or MagicDraw)
- Knowledge of Scripting (JavaScript or VBScript)
- Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: NAF/MODAF/UPDM
- knowledge of the ATM standards in general and ICAO in particular
- Business inteligence and CCB (Change Control Board) processes would be a plus
- High level of ability to write professional documents in English
