Data Governance Business Partner - London - £550 - 3 months

Gibbs S3 are currently recruiting for a Data Governance Business Partner to be based in London with one of our large banking clients. This is an initial 3 month contract paying £550 per day.

Key skills:
Knowledge of Data Governance standards and relevant data regulations
Experience in implementing data governance across multiple business units
Experience in implementing data quality monitoring and completing root cause analysis on data issues identified.
A self-motivated team player who is able to define, structure and prioritise work for self as well as others, but who also has the flexibility and capability to rationalise complex problems and also change priorities when circumstances dictate
Ability to quickly understand end to end processes which support the business and work with relevant stakeholders to generate visionary solutions to issues
Experience of working to tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and to a wide variety of audiences
Thorough and logical mind, with attention to detail very important
Working with many contacts within the organisation will require a diplomatic nature and good team player
Commercially focused
Able to challenge stakeholders creatively and professionally to create solutions which meet governance needs but are not necessarily obvious responses to pre-defined requests.
Has a working knowledge of the key issues in implementing data governance within a commercial environment
Some experience in working on multiple projects. Has monitored and dealt with critical paths and risks areas
Presents a positive, professional, constructive image to customers and suppliers alike
Understands the needs and challenges of stakeholders involved in projects, and can negotiate satisfactory resolution to issues surrounding creation and implementation of solutions
Working with peer group in the business, can identify customer satisfaction gaps through regular communication
Is aware of non-verbal behaviours and their impact on the spoken world
Freely shares information and experiences and seeks knowledge from others
Understand own learning style; learns from mistakes or successes for future planning and development. Demonstrates initiative and competence; supports and encourages positive working behaviours in others.
