Data Governance Analyst/Business Analyst

Panoramic Associates are urgently looking for a Data Business Analyst on behalf of a leading insurance client in the Midlands.

They are looking for an individual to play a key role in the Solvency II Data Governance Team, ensuring data is validated in line with the PRA requirements to meet Solvency II Standards. 

Key responsibilities include:

- The documentation of existing experience analysis data and business processes, to identify control gaps to allow for the implementation of quantitative data validation controls.
- Support the business in implementing the required quantitative controls to ensure data accuracy and appropriateness.
- Population of data dictionaries to demonstrate data lineage between systems.
- Support the Data Governance Manager in completing outstanding governance tasks.

Key skills to perform this role include:

- Experience of applying Data Governance in a Solvency II project environment.
- Experience of working in an Actuarial function to understand experience analysis data to identify data control gaps and identify the required controls as per the Data Management framework
- Experience of completing data dictionaries
- Understanding SQL code (desirable but not essential).
