Data Entry Clerk Job

DATA ENTRY CLERK needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in COLLEGEVILLE, PA.

- Pharmtech experience
- Medical terminology and devices

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Utilize a PC-based application to code and enter data supplied by physicians, hospitals & journals.
- Utilize a PC-based application to scan, transfer and log materials for the purpose of archiving and transferring data to multiple offshore locations for processing
- Key business processes include linking products to manufacturers, identifying inconsistent data elements, and categorizing verbatim product messages.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards as specified by project.
- Specialized Functions or Projects
- Analyze and compare medical device listings from internal sources vs. a Cardinal file provided by the government sponsor.
- Update internal databases via data entry
- Journal Annual Updates (2-3 months per year, Nov to Jan)
- Make contact with the publisher for the Media Kits to obtain the current rates and circulation.
- Contact includes mail, fax, telephone calls, e-mail and Internet research
- Applies the Rates and Circulation to the Database

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Professional certification, 2 + years medical coding experience,
- 2+ years Pharmtech experience, or 2+ years in a healthcare environment such as a hospital or physicians office
- Fluency in medical terminology and devices, pharmaceutical products and their indications, and dosage information is preferred.
- Ability to analyze and interpret medical/promotional/device information.
- Ability to perform as an individual and core team member in a production environment.
- Sound verbal & written communication skills.
- PC (Windows) skills
