DATA ENGINEER/ANALYST/MICROSOFT AZURE/BIG DATA/ETL/BIG DATA SQL DATABASE
My client, a large consultancy, is looking for a Data Engineer/Analyst immediately for a 3 month contract in Espoo, Finland.
The ideal candidate will have e xtensive experience of working with cloud based big-data platforms and technologies like Azure, Hadoop, MapReduce. Experience of working on other big-data cloud platforms like AWS is a definite advantage, Hands-on experience of creating and handling interfaces between multiple data sources and storage platforms, Solid experience of working with distributed systems development, exceptional ETL Design/Development knowledge, experience building and managing Big Data SQL Database like Vertica, MemSQL or VoltDB, ability to capture business requirements and adapt to changing requirements, a bility to manage data quality and platform optimization issues, Most importantly be a good team player and willingness to learn and implement new Big Data technologies as needed.
