Data Engineer

THE COMPANY

ConSol Partners' client is a global eCommerce organisation, operating in a number of countries worldwide. They are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join them at one of their main offices, in Amsterdam, for a 6 month extendable contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Data Engineer for this organisation, it will be your job to ensure that data is transformed into a format which can easily be analysed, by developing, maintaining and testing the infrastructures in place for data generation, architecting solutions which will help data scientists and high-level analysts produce insights.

REQUIREMENTS:

- IBM or Google certified Data professional preferred
- Good knowledge if Big Data Quering tools - Pig, Hive, Impala
- Knowledge of ETL techniques/frameworks
- Ability to integrate various larger data sources/databases into one system
- Experience with toolkits such as Dask, SparkML or H2O would be a benefit
