Data Conversion Specialist

Skills/Requirements:

The Data Conversion Specialist is responsible for ensuring a successful data transfer from current system and is accurately transferred to new application. Heavy emphasis on data analysis, retail accounting and conversion with skills in Excel, and SQL.Includes preparing customers for accounting conversion, managing base set-up for the application to function according to customer required specifications, while satisfying the individual customers needs. The Data Conversion Specialist will be working directly with customers remotely via phone and in classroom settings ensuring proper data is retrieved for conversion and configurations are set up properly prior to conversion. Position may require some work outside of standard business hours on an as-needed basis. Meeting timelines, accuracy and converting within specified times are critical.
