Data - Client on-Boarding Specialist

Caspian One require a Data Specialist that has a lot of experience with and would class themselves as a Client On-Boarding Specialist. This contracting opportunity sits directly within a Tier 1 Investment Bank in London.

OVERVIEW:

The vacancy sits within a team that is specific to supporting clients with day to day queries. Strong financial knowledge would be required in order to assist with client queries, dealing with uploads, warnings and/or errors within their trades. Common queries will be centred around calculations, asset related data queries, configuring reports and dealing with client on-boarding.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Data Specialist within the team, you will be dealing specifically with the client on-boarding aspect, therefore you will be required to spend a lot of time dealing with new clients. This role will require you to discuss client requirements in detail, spending time with them to fully understand what they are looking for. Further responsibilities will include the set-up of the client account and configuration of their services such as web access accounts etc.

You will be required to assist each new client with loading their portfolio data - this is a key part of the role as you will need to adhere to specific specifications to be able to do this. Further data analysis will be required once upload is complete and then assisting clients with the testing of their new feeds etc.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Good experience with databases

Good experience with writing in SQL scripts - able to query and manipulate data

Strong Data Analysis skills

Good business knowledge - investment banking experience/financial experience

Experience with Business Process Design - optimisation and mapping

Client relationship skills

Background as a Business Analyst/Project Management
