Data Cleansing Officer

Background
Our Central Government client is currently recruiting for a Data Cleansing Officer for a 5 month contract based in Bristol. You will be responsible for supporting the Technical Publications section of the team. Main duties are data gathering from documentation, validation and entry in the various systems from the publications and supporting the other teams in the data cleansing of their inventory. You will also be asked to carry out other short term tasks that require detailed ability across the other Microsoft Office suite packages.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
This role will require a lot of data processing and gathering information from both paper and electronic records to put together this information into an Access Database. If you have defence/military experience this would be an advantage. This role is based within the Vehicle and Equipment team, you will be required to put together the database so that it can easily be identified where parts/spares belong including the part code numbers.

- Adobe Pro X skills
- MS Access Advanced
- MS Excel Advanced
- Inventory

Knowledge/Experience

Desirable Criteria/Skills:

- SS3/Oliver Experience
- TDOL
- ISIS & OLAS tools
- Land Equipment

Additional Comments
It is essential that you are eligible to go through SC clearance for this post however it is desirable that you have this clearance.
