Data Centre Transition Practitioner

We are searching for a Data Centre Transition Practitioner to assist a high-profile Federal Government organisation.

Initial 12 month contract with a long term extension option!

Your DUTIES may include:

- Design of the future state Disaster Recovery capability for the organisaion and what this will require from the data centre design
- Leadership and stakeholder engagement - the program will cause change to the organisation's ICT processes and people
- Benefits management - Aligning the program with corporate objectives and assuring delivery of benefits through the changes elicited by the program
- The program leader will require a resource to assist with the following tasks;
- Designing the future state data centre(s) for the organisation
- Understanding the constraints risks and issues associated with moving data centres - based on your prior experience
- Developing the options which could enable the transition of the organisation from its current state to future state
- Providing connections with other parties in Government who have done data centre transitions before
- Facilitating design meetings with various technical groups
- Developing the relocation plan

Due to the nature of this organisation, you must be an Australian citizen to apply with the ability to gain an NV1 security clearance.
