Data Centre Relocation - Application Delivery Lead

My client is a respected organisation looking for an Application Delivery Lead to join their team for an initial 6 month contract with view to extend.

The Application Lead Delivery will work with technical specialists to plan, co-ordinate & complete application migration activities that assist in the organisations data centre facilities to the new data centre.

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Proven project planning and management experience
- PROVEN HISTORY WITH DATA CENTRE RELOCATIONS
- Proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated experience in managing systems design and development initiatives in complex enterprise environments
- Demonstrated ability to plan and perform application discovery and assessments
- Demonstrated experience defining, planning and executing application migrations across different data centres or private internal/external clouds
- Exemplary general IT knowledge (applications development, testing, deployment, operations, documentation, standards, best practices, security, hardware, networking, OS, DBMS, Middleware, etc)
- Demonstrated experience in Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience facilitating the development of J2EE rich and/or web client applications in a high-availability, clustered environment
