A tier 1 Investment Bank is hiring for a Data Centre Operations Technician. The 24*7 Operations team is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Bank's data centre infrastructure. This includes ensuring the various data centre's meet environmental standards, are secure and that all works within the data centre are performed in a controlled manner in line with company / industry standards and best practice.

Required skills:

- Good knowledge of data centre M&E infrastructure preferable but not essential.
- Experience of working in a service delivery/operational environment.
- Incident management and reporting skills.
- Strong technical expertise of HP or similar servers.
- Significant experience working in a data centre role & environment

Beneficial skills:

- ITIL V3
- Comptia Server+

This role is based primarily at CanaryWharfand is offering a salary of up to £55000 plus benefits.
