Data Centre Movement Specialist

Roc Search's Client is currently recruiting for a Data Centre Movement Specialist for a global organisation based in London on an initial 6 month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the ideal candidate to have a long term contract with a very reputable client of mine.

Responsibilities:
*Understanding of DataCentre shift (like for like approach)
*Ability to manage the "move" bucket - 80 applications to be moved in 3 groups so able to ensure that applications are tested properly
*All applications are supported by different vendors so no development or coding effort is required but management effort (to ensure that activities are taken care of)
*Ensure operational readiness for DataCentre move
*Liaise with Infra provider, application owners, support vendors.
*Work on the dependency list created across application landscape to ensure - move buckets are correct/proper activities are happening and report to program team on risks/issues/project plan
*Ensure logistics are taken care of and storage/data/OS/application needs are documented and correct
*Seen DataCentre move from hardware and application perspective
