Data Centre Engineer (Cisco CCNP/CCIP/Security) - Rome, Italy

Languages: ENGLISH with ITALIAN

Skills and experience:

- Minimum 3 years networking experience in SP/DC environment
- Cisco Routing and Switching (Certification is a nice to have - CCNP/CCIP/Security)
- Cisco experience with Firewall
- Cisco 6500 platform
- Cisco 7600 platform
- Cisco 3750 platform
- Cisco UCS experience
- Cisco ASA Firewall platform
- Cisco ASR 9K platform
- Cisco Nexus Family Platform (N7K, N5K, N2K)
- Layer 2 technology and Spanning tree protocol
- L2 extensions protocols.
- Cisco certification and experience with SP Core (MPLS L2/L3 VPN)
- OSPF, BGP routing.
- QoS.
- Data centre design and migration experience.
- Juniper/F5/Huawei/VMware/Checkpoint experience nice to have.
- Good communication skills

Optimization skills:

Implement optimization projects.

Act as a focal point for project implementation

Field level support (smart hands) during reactive actions performed as part of incident management

Field level support during any emergency conditions and service outages

Assist with LLD development and LLD implementation

Provide assistance for analysing proposed changes and reviewing associated risk
