Data Centre Engineer

A Global leading Telecoms Service Provider is currently seeking an experienced CCIE Level IP Network Engineer to work on site in Dusseldorf with the following skills:

- Good understanding of the IP technologies, protocols and network topology
- CCIE
- Good understanding of the Network operations processes & Functions
- 5-6 years. of experience in IP Core Network Operations with service provider
- Good understanding of IP network elements & protocols
- Good communication skills
- Soft Skills in leading team/project management will be preferred. Accountability and self-motivation mandatory.
- Languages: English and Spanish
- Familiar with Cisco Routers, Switches, DNS, AAA, Firewalls, DHCP etc. Knowledge of relevant Third party products, including: Cisco 6500 series, Cisco 3750 series, Cisco Nexus (all models), Cisco ACE, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint Firewall, Juniper Firewall, Alteon Load Balancer, F5 Load Balancer

Responsibilities:

- Act as a focal point for project implementation
- Field level support during reactive actions performed as part of incident management
- Field level support during any emergency conditions and service outages
- Assist with LLD development and LLD implementation
- Develop and maintain documentation (Wiki)
- Change Advisory Board participation
- Provide assistance for analysing proposed changes and reviewing associated risk
