Data Centre Cabling Expert

Are you looking for a new contract in 2016? We are working with one of the large telecoms operators on new contracts within their Data Centre area.

They are looking for a Data Centre Cabling Specialist to join them on the set up and design of their data centre cables. You will be a technical hands on cable expert with exposure to designing using various software packages.

Responsibilities:
*Set up on new cabling
-Fiber MM for IT (SAN) - patching end-to-end
-Fiber SM for Network & IT - patching end-to-end
-Copper for IT & Network - patching end-to-end
-Cabling database/Inventory (maintain correct info in database)
-Cabling party (clean-up & verification of correctness)
-3rd party patch cabling

*Design and drawings in excel and visio
*Owner of cabling database
*Maintain rack assignments
*Owner of cabling database
*Manage copper capacity between server racks and structure cabling racks

Skill and experience:

*5 -10+ years cabling and data centre.
*Moved onto design rather than physical cabling
*Monitoring and auditing
*Background in cabling
*Manage the outsourced 3rd party company doing the cabling
*Visio and Excel skills or other software tools for the cabling design (tool for patching and drawing combined)
*Fluent English, Dutch is a plus.
