Data Centre Architect

Data centre architect - Amsterdam - 6 months

Amoria Bond is currently looking for a Data centre architect for our client in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for supporting the current data centre architect due to the fact the workload has increased immensley. Furthermore, you will offer support towards for the ICT portfolio in which managed services is a part of, assist with the ICT development within the organisation and the development of the new data centres and/or upgrades of existing data centres.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that new and existing data centers are upgraded to meet the latest proven standards in the field of Information Technology.
- Ensure timely, correct implementation and maintenance of existing procedures relating to Information Technology.
- Development of information technology.
- Actively engaged in security as they can arise in the field.
- Coordinating ICT activities.
- Responsible for the yearly ICT budget.
- You are the back-up for the ICT manager.
- You are a spokes person for the vendors.

Skills:
- Senior level experience within data centre environments
- ITIL/PRINCE2
- Experience with Windows and Linux
- Knowledge of Firewalls such as Linux, Unix, Fortinet 1 and 2
- Knowledge/experience Microsoft Office Suite
- You speak Dutch and English
- You live in the Netherlands
