Data Center network Engineer
Tangent International are seeking a Data Centre network Engineer to work a 6 month extendable contract based in Belgium.
Rate - €300 - €320 per day
The person will have
- 10+ years of professional experience in Telecoms environment and information technology.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of technologies/architectures including: DWDM, 10Gig media standards (optical and electrical), MPLS, TCP/IP protocol suite, Ethernet 1Gig/10Gig and emerging 40Gig/100Gig)
-Demonstrated knowledge/experience in multi-tiered data center networking with expert
- Must have deep knowledge working on Cisco DC switching equipment for and possess hands on configuration and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have clear understanding of current and upcoming trends in the data centre networking area including: Virtualization, Fiber Path, Blade technologies, GRID computing, Low Latency switching.
- Partner with Network Planning and Voice Engineering in the, Design, and Implementation Voice Over IP (VoIP) Networks, including development of Data Center demark configurations.
