We are currently seeking an energetic Internal Auditor to serve as a technical resource within enterprise data centers.

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for performing audits over the internal controls and operations of the company. This is a highly visible role that requires a strong work ethic, strong communication skills, a positive, problem-solving attitude and a high level of customer focus. In order to be successful, this person should have the ability to manage highly confidential information and interact with all levels of management.

DUTIES:

- Perform a variety of internal audits covering key function and operating units; operational, IT processes, and internal controls with an understanding of basic electrical and mechanical plant equipment
- Communicate with individuals at various levels, including Senior team members in regards to audit outcomes and remediation
- Suggest and build internal audit work programs, perform internal audit procedures, and assist in preparation of internal audit reports
- Assist in completing operational audits at leased/owned data centers
- Identify high risk areas and communicate to management
- Travel as needed domestically

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years work experience
- Extensive Data Center experience required
- Extensive Internal Auditor experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of internal audit standards and risk assessment practices
- Excellent communications skills: written and verbal
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills, very customer focused
- Ability to work independently and produce a highly accurate and timely product
- Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Walk jobsites in uneven terrain
- Work at heights and from ladders
- Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 49 lbs.; participate in group lifts for 50 lbs. or more
- Work shifts longer than eight hours in duration
- Respond to off hour emergency calls
- Maintain balance and perform construction tasks while on a ladder
- Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment
- Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance
- Bend or twist the body into unusual positions while working
- Push or pull heavy objects into position
- Work in a noisy environment
- Work at depths, such as under raised floors

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- BA/BS degree in Business or related fields or Technical Degree
- Experience working in a publicly traded company valued
- Experience in telecom and/or real estate industry valued
- Experience in electrical industry valued
- Experience with automated data analysis (BI) tools a plus
