Projektbeschreibung
Job Title: Data Center Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Location: SOLOTHURN, SWITZERLAND
Responsibilities:
Managing Data Center and provide onsite support to DC Admins for Priority and maintenance issues
Assign switch ports to specific VLANs
Patch phone ports to switch as needed
Perform packet traffic analysis for troubleshooting
Troubleshoot issues with fiber links between Switches
Troubleshoot and replace chassis blades when required
A periodic (minimum twice weekly) visual check of the IDF rooms for cooling and power status (specifically UPS alarms and PDU health)
Control-M, Netbackup, Tivoli Work Scheduler HP OVO, Netcool, MOM
Batch monitoring and Job scheduling
Server Performance monitoring
Networking and Operating System basics
Candidate should have minimum 3-5 year experience in above mentioned area.
