Data Center Consultant/Infrastructure Consultant

POSITION: DATA CENTER CONSULTANT/INFRASTRUCTURE CONSULTANT (UNIX, WINDOWS AND NETWORK)

LOCATION: TOULOUSE, FRANCE

JOB TYPE: CONTRACT

THE JOB DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS:

- Hands on experience managing UNIX/HP UNIX/AIX/Solaris/Linux systems/Windows/Networks
- Experience handling transition of Data Center Services in an outsourced environment will be desired.
- Installing, configuring and maintaining UNIX Servers in HA environment.
- Configuration and administration of Sun and Veritas logical volume manager.
- Patch and Package administration
- Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
- Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance
- Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.
- Installation, configuration and Administration of Netbackup environment
- Configuring Unix Security baseline
- Strong experience in engineering data center and IP backbone networks in a multi-vendor multi-protocol environment;
- Experience architecting networks based on Optical, DSL, Ethernet, ATM, Frame Relay, and Ethernet and access media
- Experience designing network protocols
- Experience integrating and managing DNS (internal and external), Email, and other hosted platforms
- Expert level experience with IP administration and management
- Experience with VPN and VPLS
- Experience with Database Design and Programming
