We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to join their project in China.

Position Title: Data center Architect Consultant
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: August 2015
Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:
- According to the industry standards and best practice, act as the technical architect and service architect for Data center migration solution.
- Develop methods and processes for project pre-sale and delivery phases.
- Develop methods and processes for Data center remote delivery.
- Act as a Lead Solution Architect in DC consolidation and/or migration projects.
- Perform a detailed analysis of the application interface based on the customer demands and develop detailed migration solution.
- DC construction for large enterprise customer - OSS/BSS/MSS, government IT platform planning and construction.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- At least 15 years of work experience in ICT; 10 years as a Solution Architect for Data Centers (Consolidation, migration on same or cross-platform database.
- Accept worldwide travelling (up to 40%).
- Experience with business and application models for Big Data and Internet of Things - solution design using Hadoop; Familiar with the groupware and related function of OpenStack.
- Project experience in virtualization and cloud computing - solution architecture.
- Expert in DC business continuity system - data backup, disaster recovery; deep understanding of DC business continuity industry standards (SHARE/78,GB/T 20988-2007, etc.).
- Expert in private/public/hybrid cloud service IT architecture, especially in Automation, Orchestration and managing cloud platforms.
- Familiar with large IP network, switching and routing protocols, solution of layer-2 network technology, larger DC design, operation and maintenance experience.
- Experience with many end-to-end middle and large scale private/public cloud projects.
- ITIL, ETOM, TOGAF is preferred.
