DATA CENTER ANALYST (TELECOMMUNICATIONS)

ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Center Analyst to join our world leading Telecommunications client in Dublin, Ireland.

Our Global telecommunications client is looking for a Data Center Analyst to help their efforts to invest in Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) technology and become the leaders of DCIM solution vendors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

DCIM BUSINESS MODEL ANALYSIS:

- Perform business analysis of proposed Data Center Infrastructure Management platform and business model

DCIM BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS:

- Engage with key customers to understand their business requirements and drivers and present them to relevant stakeholders

DCIM OPPORTUNITIES ANALYSIS:

- Identify key market trends driving customer needs

DCIM STRATEGY PLANNING:

- Analyse competitive industry platforms to guide business planning

DCIM OFFERINGS INSIGHT:

- Analysis of leading data center performance management and measurement tools

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OF THE DATA CENTER ANALYST:

- Data Center Infrastructure operation and maintenance management
- Understanding of technical and business drivers for data center infrastructure management (DCIM)
- DCIM software and service
- ITSM, CMDB and virtualization technical solutions
- Data Center IT and facility systems and devices (eg Servers, storage, network, power and cooling, Backup/Restore, Disaster Recovery)
- Cross Data Center planning and operations
- Understanding of Data Center security and legal requirements
- Data Center migration, forecasting and planning methods
