Data Capturing Consultant - Maritime (m/w/d)

For my leading client in the maritime industry, I'm looking for a data capturing specialist with profound knowledge in naval architecture.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
+ Sighting of technical documents
+ Creation of equipment lists in coordination with customers
+ Data extraction from pdf and paper documents and data population in excel files
+ Preparation of own data in SQL

Must:
+ IT troubleshooting, systems administration or equivalent, particularly regarding SQL/ database management
+ General knowledge of Fleet Management Software systems for maritime shipping
+ General processes of ship management
+ Willingness to travel (short periods, usually up to one week, but can be longer
+ Fluent English

Nice:
+ German and polnish
+ Proficiency at DNV GL’s maritime software systems
+ Experience in software roll-out for the shipping industry
+ Previous shipping experience
+ Knowledge of PMS systems (structure, DB table relations, etc.)
- SFI
- Knowledge of concepts of databases (data modelling, normalization, relational model, etc.)
- Knowledge of database migration procedures and best practices.
- Database Administrator knowledge, especially Database security, Database backup and backup recovery
- Knowledge of DB management tools - RDBMS such as SQL Anywhere, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer
- Microsoft Office (Advance Microsoft Access knowledge)
- Knowledge of T-SQL (with the Oracle dialect).
- Basic Knowledge of Visual basic, Power Shell, .NET Framework, ASP.NET
- Knowledge of OCR tools
