JOB TITLE: Business Analyst/Data Analyst (DD48102)

LOCATION: Oakland, CA

CONTRACT LENGTH: 4 Months (June, 2014 - October, 2014)

CONTRACT TERMS: W-2

This position supports the work of the Community Partner Strategy and Implementation team by using analytic methods to support the team's decision making.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with Consultants, collects data and conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis relative to CHC target market.

Researches and validates external sources for data about target market.

Identifies and analyzes key data related to community partners and school districts.

Identifies key factors in evaluating partner enrollment capacity.

Assists in developing project metrics and dashboard.

Interprets and evaluates, research data to incorporate into strategic decision-making
Uses statistical analysis techniques to analyze data and produce preliminary reports.

Ensure research data integrity and consistency is achieved across relevant systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BA or BS required. Major or minor in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, statistics or math preferred.

3 plus years direct relevant experience.

3 plus years using SAS or SQL.

Ability to use survey and market research methodologies, systems and techniques.

Ability to interpret data and express implications of analysis relative to goals.

Experience presenting results to audience of stakeholders.

Experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
