Data Architect: Netherlands

We are looking fora Data Architect to join the team and work as part of our multi-disciplinary automation team for our client in financial services. You would be part of a scrum team and will work day to day with experienced designers, developers and testers of the Client.

We are looking for individuals with passion and desire to build really cool automation solutions that express our client's goals to sell and build brands across growing digital touch points.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

- Designs Data Architectures.
- Develops strategies for data acquisitions and define the sources to acquire data.
- Collaborate with IT teams and management to devise a data strategy that addresses industry requirements
- Build an inventory of data needed to implement the architecture
- Research new opportunities for data acquisition
- Identify and evaluate current data management technologies
- Create a fluid, end-to-end vision for how data will flow through an organization
- Develop data models for database structures
- Design, document, construct and deploy database architectures and applications for both SQL and NoSQL.
- Integrate technical functionality (eg scalability, security, performance, data recovery, reliability, etc)
- Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
- Constantly monitor, refine and report on the performance of data management systems
- Meld new systems with existing warehouse structures and cloud.
- Produce and enforce data enhancement standards
- Demonstrated experience with Digital Banking.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Excellent understanding of database and various data sources.
- Experience with data warehouse and cloud data source.
- Experience with ETL and ELT process for data ingestion.
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig .
- Added advantage with NoSQL databases, such as DynamoDB, Cassandra, HBase .
- Any knowledge on Hadoop ecosystem.
- Data-oriented personality
