DATA ARCHITECT (FINANCIAL SERVICES) - SOUTHAMPTON

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED DATA ARCHITECT TO WORK WITH OUR CLIENT LOCATED IN SOUTHAMPTON, HAMPSHIRE.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS DETAILED BELOW:

Seeking replacement role to carry out significant amount of enterprise data architecture work on the strategy and key programmes for the client business.

Senior EA data architect to direct, lead, govern and influence the client estate including specific management & engagement of senior business and IT Exco stakeholders

Data strategy and roadmaps reporting to Architecture management

There is a significant & diverse programme of work that includes further migrations, data warehouse consolidation, mobile, productInfrastructure: VoiceData: Corporate Datamodelling, ERDsSecurity: Application Security, Data Security and Communications Security including Access Control, Cryptography, Legal, Standards & Policy Implementation, Business Continuity, etc).
- Extensive understanding across the breath of IT.
- Evidenced practice of the development and maintenance of IT architecture and IT strategy, with applied understanding, at an enterprise level of application, infrastructure, data or security architecture.
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent
- Proven track record within a wide variety of IT functions, including systems analysis, development and project management.
- Proven track record of defining solution architectures.
- Understanding of industry best practice and trends together with their application within a business context.
- Knowledge of a wide variety of technologies including several of the disciplines in strategic IT architecture covering either application, infrastructure, data or security architecture with evidenced practice of at least two domains.
- Broad knowledge of the financial services industry and key regulatory requirements.
