Data Architect/Data Engineer- UK/Norway- Oil & Gas

We are looking for a first-class Data Architect/Data Engineer for a 3-month initial engagement with a world leading Consultancy delivering Data Architecture strategy and engineering for an Oil & Gas global client.

3-month initial assignment offering £700-£800 per day.

YOU WILL NEED TO WORK BETWEEN THE UK AND NORWAY, SO MUST BE PREPARED TO TRAVEL TO NORWAY FOR 2-4 DAYS PER WEEK, (LIKELY UK MONDAYS/FRIDAYS)- NOTE ALL EXPENSES FOR TRAVEL AND STAY WILL BE PAID FOR AND PICK UP IN ADDITION TO THE DAY RATE.

We can accommodate someone who is coming to the end of an assignment, it doesn't need to be an immediate start necessarily.

We are looking for experience and someone to deliver:

- DATA ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING (PRIORITY)
- Ability to create data models that show how complex data sets are joined together
- Work with business SMEs to understand data sets and the most appropriate way to model them
- The ability to map data sets to source systems and identify conflicts in the systems that master data
- Work with delivery teams to help them translate logical models into physical models
- Experience in data management and putting In place data quality rules on data sets
- Run workshops with key stakeholders to resolve conflicts
- EXPERIENCE WITH CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES (DESIRABLE)
- Practical Knowledge of Google cloud platform
- Knowledge of new data technologies including PaaS
- Knowledge of patterns to deliver on google cloud
- DELIVERY
- Experience working in an agile delivery environment
- IDEALLY EXPERIENCE IN OIL AND GAS: (DESIRABLE)
- We are working in Subsurface
- Experience with industry systems that responsible for Wells, Bore Holes, Drilling, Geological data
