Data Architect wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 10+ years' background in architectural or technical design field according with 3+ years' relevant experience in the Global Financial Services Industry
- Qualification in building architectures in enterprise data management, data distribution and reporting
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills across all levels in organization
- Proficiency of Data modelling (conceptual, logical and physical) as well as Relational database design in Oracle and Big data technologies (Hadoop, Cloudera and Spark)
- Competent handling of Data exchange and system integration patterns, including pub/sub, REST, batch and streaming along with enterprise ETL and data management (Informatica)
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Defining key technical requirements and detailed architecture model for a strategic data management and distribution hub as well as performing collaboration across functions
- Communicating with SMEs for analysing, articulating and modelling the data domain in both business and technical terms
- Identifying and articulating benefits and drawbacks of different technologies and approaches for the large-scale management, qualifying control and distribution of data across a diverse IT landscape
- Ensuring architectural artifacts, documentation and visualizations describing the target state IT application and integration ecosystem
- Providing architecture input into key architectural decisions and support for development and documentation of the strategic IT target state
