Function
A data architect is an IT specialist with experience and knowledge in data & analytics. They have in-depth knowledge of some business areas. They understand the vision, strategy and roadmaps of our company.
From functional requirements they can identify the necessary data and analytics needs and translate them into an effective, reliable and future-proof solution.

A data architect knows our enterprise information model, our data governance, IT & Data Architecture. They will contribute to new projects in the various business divisions (Enterprise, Consumer, Customer Operations, Staff and Support) respecting the different business processes (customer intelligence, fulfillment, repair, provisioning, billing, ...).

Data Architects enable data and data flows to be set-up and/or maintained in qualitative fashion. They work with business and IT colleagues (architects, functional analysts and project managers) to ensure that a full set of relevant, clear and unambiguous requirements regarding data and analytics are described.

His/her main responsibilities are:
- Assessing the impact of a project on the enterprise information model (PIM), business/information capabilities and if necessary, propose changes
- Determining the safety/'security level' of data (access, GDPR, Chinese Wall, ...)
- Contributing to a well-documented design with focuses on data and analytics (data model, reference data, technical architecture, security, ...) and is project/application independent for the purpose of standardization and reusability.
- During the course of the implementation, they ensures that the developed solution conforms to the design.

Skills
You are an IT professional with 7-10 years' experience as a functional analyst or architect.
You can understand complex architectures and solutions
You know various technologies such as Teradata, Informatica, Ab Initio, MicroStrategy, Oracle, Microsoft BI, Hadoop, Spark, Storm, Kafka, Python, ...
You have knowledge of our IT & Data Architecture, the enterprise information model (PIM) data model and ring (UML)
You are fluent in Dutch, French and English, both spoken and written.
You're a good negotiator.
