DUTIES
Data Architect required to act in the role of Technical Subject Matter Expert for data design and reporting. The position requires strong technical skills in Datamodelling, data architecture and reporting. The working environment requires diligence, energy and a practical approach to problem solving without losing sight of the strategic objectives. It is also very important to be a strong team player.
SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Logical and Physical Data Architecture Analysis.
- Manage Guidelines and Best Practices for Datamodelling and database server and query optimisation
- Assist & support other teams (mainly Development and QA) and provide mentoring expertise to developer
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Data Architecture:
- Big Data, Data Modeling (OLTP, OLAP), Distributed Data Storage, Synchronisation, DWH, Data Mart, BI/Reports, Complex Event Processing, Data Staging, Map Reduce, Deployment in Cloud, Non-Functional Requirements, Data Quality Issues, Kimball, Best Practices, Enterprise Level Understanding of Data Layer, Open Source Products
Data Technologies:
- ETL, SQL, SQL Server, Adapter frameworks, Hadoop, No-SQL
Data Tuning:
- Latency, Partitioning, Lazy Loading, IO, Memory, Query Time
