Projektbeschreibung
DATA ARCHITECT - 6 MONTH CONTRACT
Responsible for the data architecture strategy across the enterprise system architecture, and ensuring that solutions delivered within the BI area are technically feasible, fit for purpose, and fit in with the enterprise system architecture
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate with BI team in the implementation of processes which result in a high degree of data quality and integrity, and assist in the resolution of data quality issues.
- Establish and maintain an Enterprise Data Model describing how data is processed, stored, and utilized, including source to report lineage.
- Develop data governance strategy and controls to ensure consistency of data between various systems, and across the enterprise system architecture.
- Provide advice and give presentations on solutions for Business Intelligence and data warehousing activities including reporting, and data analytics for stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
- Consultation and collaboration with Enterprise Architect, Security and Service delivery areas to ensure solutions adhere to strategies, standards and policies.
- Help drive best practice in the Architecture domain through the introduction of enhanced development, testing and deployment standards and policies.
SKILL-SET & EXPERIENCE:
- 10 + years commercial development experience of hands-on design and implementation of business solutions that include data design/modelling, ETL technologies and reporting/BI technologies, for multi-terabyte data warehouse solutions
- Exposure to projects involving data warehouse replacements, including platform selection.
- Track record of delivery of projects in mission critical environments.
- Exposure to multiple, diverse business systems, technologies and processing environments.
- Solid understanding of metadata management best practices with experience implementing or operating a metadata repository.
- Awareness of Big Data Solutions and Fraud Analytics
- Prior experience of contributing to the development of IT strategies
- Knowledge of all aspects of IT architecture (TOGAF or other frameworks is a benefit).
