Panoramic Associates are assisting a leading Lloyd's Managing Agent Client in finding an Information/Data Architect to join their team on an interim basis. The successful Information/Data Architect will be responsible for managing Information Governance and driving the application of an effective Governance Framework across the whole business.
The KEY PURPOSES for this role are to:
- Manage the definition and implementation of an Information Governance Framework underpinning the delivery of clearly defined, high quality, timely & secure information
- Responsibility for the governance of information assets
- Lead information stewardship activities including definition and monitoring of data quality
- To maintain and develop Information Governance capability to meet current and future business requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES will include:
- Administering quarterly information governance meetings and to ensure appropriate oversight
- Support the evaluation of legal, regulatory and audit requirements
- Lead the Information Governance group
- Work with the management team to assist them in implementing and maintaining effective information management practices.
- Lead definition, application and monitoring of consistent data definitions and data quality
- Co-ordinate the activity of local Information Stewards to drive compliance with the governance framework
- Training/development/support of the Information Stewards
- Manage the Information Governance Communication and Engagement plan
The ideal Information/Data Architect will have:
- Experience in defining and implementing an Information Governance programme
- A solid understanding of concepts including, Datamodelling, data warehousing, data quality, and master data management
- Experience in documenting and evaluating systems, processes and controls
- Experience within the Lloyd's insurance market (REQUIREMENT)
- Senior Stakeholder experience with the ability to form effective relationships and influence people at a senior level
- The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with people across different business areas and locations
- A high standard of written and verbal communication skills
