Data Architect

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for an experienced Data Architect for a major project in Mayfield Village, OH. Data modelling experience and metadata management experience is desired.

Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have a strong data-centric background, with 3+ years acting in a role as a Data Architect or Data Modeler.

This will include experience in:
- Data Modeling
- Data Governance
- Data Quality Management
- Metadata Management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain information in a way that establishes rapport and gain understanding with business and technical people.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Strong customer focus and ability to manage customer expectations

Required:
- 3+ years data modelling
- Metadata management experience
- Architect and implement high quality Data Warehouse solutions. Must be aware of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs.
- Architect, implement and evolve OLTP databases for custom applications across the different IT groups.
- Define and govern logical model and data warehouse best practices and standards to include software development practices, design styles and software deployment.
- Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement.
- Define the processing layer to transform data from various sources into standard definitions and format. - Provide strategic direction to the organization by creating reference architectures and defining governance for the different database storages.
