Data Architect

My client is a Finnish contact information and media company. They are looking to take on an experienced Data Architect to help them migrate their existing Data Warehouse to a new up to date version with more capabilities and uses than its predecessor. Coming into this position you will be faced with solving complicated and challenging problems on a daily basis whilst thinking outside the box, using the most innovative and state of the art tools and technologies in the market.

They are looking for a candidate that has the theoretical aptitude as well as commercial experience to come into this role and hit the ground running, ideally the candidate would be able to start as soon as possible.

KEY SKILLS

- Exposure working with various Data Warehouses
- Hands on experience with Hadoop
- Have had previous experience or exposure to Oracle Exadata and SQL Server
- Have commercial experience using reporting tools such as QlikView
- Must have hands on experience with ETL and Migration processes.
