DATA ARCHITECT

LOCATION: OSLO,NORWAY

DURATION: CONTRACT

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DETAILS:

Information Management Architecture(L1)
-

Should have good theoretical understanding of the technology concepts
-

Should be able to develop technology solutions to meet low and medium complexity project specific
-

business requirements

Data Analysis-Data collection and Metrics development, Trending,ability to feed input for APR and program level decision making

SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE- -

Ability to take the functional and non-functional requirements and propose solution that will be able to meet the requirements.
-

Work with the design team to realize the architecture by
-

providing suggestions on design options.
-

Review and validate the design decisions taken by the design teams.
-

Work with client architecture teams n - validate the non-functional requirements -discussing and providing
-

inputs on architecture options
-

Present the architecture and design to necessary stake holders as required.
-

Working experience with at least one common SDLC methods (RUP, Velociq)

MDM - MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT- -

Should have a good understanding of various methods and tools used in master data management and should possess expertise in at least one of them
-

Should possess the ability to engage with business and IT users and senior managers in workshops in order to elicit solution expectations
-

Should be able to stitch together a solution for each master data object keeping in mind the basic design principles of a master data repository and also the integration aspects,while keeping in mind the
-

prevailing larger MDM strategy
-

Should be able to drive an MDM project track independently from design all the way till go live

DATA INTEGRATION- -

Should be able to develop technological solution for the intended delivery competency to meet enterprise business requirements
-

Should have developed reusable artifacts like architecture components, vendor neutral technology frameworks, best practices and standards for the technology for the intended delivery competency Should be able to foresee and handle technological integration, internationalization, exceptions and

performance issues as part of developing technological solutions

DATA MODELING-DM - -

Should have understanding the concepts of Data Modeling.
-

Should have conceptual, logical and physical model design experience for Operation Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts
-

Should have designed and developed data Models for at least 2 to 3 large scale projects.
-

Should have expert RDBMS knowledge. Tool-specific:
-

Should have a minimum of 5to 7 year experience with a tool such as ERWIN
-

Data Modeler, Embarcadero ERStudio, etc.
-

Should have knowledge in Reverse Engineering and Forward Engineering.
-

Should have developed and drawn minimum 3 logical models and 3physical models. Should have understanding of type of logical notation and physical notation and all types of relationships.
-

Should have used Domain
-

Should have used Model Mart. Should have used
