Data Architect

A UK wide financial services group who are currently engaged in a variety of large scale business and systems change programmes, require an experienced Data Architect, with solid Datamodelling skills, to work with the Data Governance function to develop a Conceptual Data Model and assist with the implementation of a new Datawarehouse infrastructure using Oracle technologies. You will liaise closely with users, systems designers and especially the developers on the project team to ensure the data design is appropriate and fit for purpose. You will also develop the day to day data governance processes and activities including: change management, data dictionary maintenance, data quality certification, data profiling, data archiving, data quality monitoring and data quality reporting. Experience of software tools including ERwin, Informatica Data Quality, Oracle Enterprise Data Quality, Siebel Customer Hub and/or OBIEE would be an advantage. The role will be for initially 6 months and pay £450-£475 per day.
