NEXT-LINK IS LOOKING FOR A STRONG DATA ANALYTICS SPECIALIST FOR ONE OF IT'S MAJOR CLIENTS BASED IN GENEVA.

LOOKING FOR A STRONG DATA ANALYTICS SPECIALIST.
LOCATION: GENEVA -SWITZERLAND
CONTRACT: 7 MONTHS CONTRACT WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION
START DATE: ASAP
PLEASE FIND THE JOB SPEC BELOW:
- Perform daily monitoring of NewGen risks alarms involving SFDC, Mule, RME and other internal and external systems.
- Propose potential enhancements for monitoring process automation.
- Interact in a daily basis with internal and external stakeholders of the project and app support.
- Analysis and documentation of the parameter and situations to be monitored including systems involved, data required and activities.
- Initial manual monitoring will be required. Document and execute reports, KPI and issues identified.
- Engage with product owners (PO), system architects and IT coordinators during troubleshooting of data flow related issues.
- Control data and business rules, by extracting data from different system and using cross-system data analysis.
- Create KPI and dashboards of main data related incidents for management presentations.
- Assist on the log and resolution of data related tickets opened in the IT service desk system (Service-Now, SNOW)
- Check interface with BSPlink system
- Check interface with the internal system system
- Check interface with Risk Monitoring Engine (RME) system
- Alert and Balances Updates
- Any other relevant interface in the scope of the NewGen project which would require monitoring.
- Documentation and handover to IT support: all relevant activities related to monitoring and data quality controls will be documented and once automated handed over to the respective internal IT support as per their current internal capacity.
- The Data Analytics Specialists will report to NewGen Data Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience working as a Data Analyst.
- Great Personal skills with experience working in a multi-national environment.
- Advanced written and verbal communication in English, including technical writing skills.
- Good Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
- At least 5 years' experience with ETL (data warehouse extract, transform and load technique) solutions.
- Excellent management of Power BI and DAX.
- Good data base management in SQL Server or others similar data bases.
- Ideally good understanding of Mulesoft and other API technologies.
- Previous experience with travel agency business would be a plus.
- Proven experience with statistical programming with R, Phyton or similar programming language would be a clear advantage.
