Data Analytics Architect Job

DATA ANALYTICS ARCHITECT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Auburn Hills, MI.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Consult with business users to business processes, define requirements for changes to existing application Design and implement new analytical applications and predictive models or make changes to existing ones, including:
- Strong SAS programming background for creating, maintaining existing code, ad hoc reporting and supporting the reporting functions.
- Experience in using SAS to read, write, import and export to another data file formats, including delimited files, Microsoft Excel, PDF and MS Access tables.
- Additional experience includes using Procedures, Graph, Macros, Data Step, SQL, and Data Mining, extracting internal/external data including cleaning and validation, use of formats and in formats.
- Work with the marketing department to develop marketing campaigns for customer acquisitions that involve liaising with third party Data providers, setting up internal IT systems and Campaign data analytics.
- Creation and modification of reports
- Train new employees on above responsibilities as needed or new applications.
- Environment and Application performance tuning - including conduct performance testing/tuning, etc.
- Project Quality Reviews
- Documentation Maintenance
- Providing project based implementation and mentoring services to customers, enhance existing applications and development of new service requests.
- Consulting, Participating in Business Meetings, Developing New Service Request from Business Users, Incident/problem management, Environment performance tuning, Project Quality Reviews, Documentation Maintenance.
- Technical support for develop series of SAS models within Enterprise Miner and Visual Analytics leveraging Oracle 11gR2 Data Warehouse.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Candidate must be willing to perform outside of core skill set in order to complete requested tasks and may participate on projects or own the implementation of service requests
- 10+ years of report development using the SAS Analytics suite of reporting and building predictive models (ie SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Visual Analytics Designer, SAS Visual Analytics Explorer.)
- Must be Highly Proficient in predictive data statistical modelling.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in straight-forward business terms to all levels within the organization.
- Experience in the automotive industry, especially OEMs, a plus.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel, Access)
- Demonstrated knowledge in SQL, and Oracle 11g
