DATA ANALYSTS - EDINBURGH

ECS are currently seeking Data Analysts to join us on a contract basis in Edinburgh to work within a Data Delivery programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for Data Analysts, with a strong database background with an understanding of database structures. Working closely with technical teams, you will have the knowledge to ensure that data is fit for purpose and delivered to timelines.

Skills and experience must include:

Knowledge of data capture, update, usage and other core business processes that influence data life cycle.

Experienced in the Project Lifecycle process.
-

Understanding of relational databases
-

Experiences with implementation of Data Warehouse
-

ETL (writing ETL rules and rule specification)
-

Good information gathering and problem solving skills and the ability to find solutions to problems.
-

Capable of working in an ever changing environment where work priorities and specific requirements can be subject to change at short notice.
-

Experienced in using SQL to analyse data for data source systems
-

Knowledge of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices
-

Knowledge of Informatica development would be beneficial
-

Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.
-

Experience in all Microsoft applications, including Access.
-

Self motivated willing to drive the work forward on his/her own initiative.

Strong collaboration skills and an effective team player.
