A high profile Federal Government agency is seeking 3X DATA ANALYSTS to join their talented and dedicated team in Canberra IMMEDIATELY for an initial 12 month contract.

You will be responsible for the following:

- Experience writing SQL for industry standard databases particularly in the creation, loading and extraction of data using large data sets and complex queries.
- Experience in the use of data warehouse tools or similar products for data investigation and presentation. Recent SQL experience in a production or data warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data marts and the application of these to the manipulation and extraction of data in a corporate environment.
- Excellent system and business analysis skills and the ability to communicate clearly and precisely with both business and technical analysts in addressing business and system issues.
- The applicant should be able to identify priorities in complex situations, integrate diverse sources of information and generate workable solutions to problems.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following;

- SQL experience and experience in working with large volume databases including:
- Run complex daily queries in DWH, nEDW and Mainframe DB2
- Manage, create, load, manipulate, extract using large data sets, eg from Mainframe DB2 to Teradata warehouse
- Process, update and write complex queries in databases
- Excellent system and business analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to be self motivated with minimal direct management and a demonstrated commitment to meeting deadlines
