Public Sector client is seeking a Data/Report Analyst for a 6 month contract to hire position in Atlanta, GA. The Data Analyst will be responsible for managing and understanding operational data resident in all database systems and creating custom Oracle Reports (Oracle Discoverer, Access and Excel)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage all database systems used in support of program operations.
- Manage data on the Oracle Financials platform for daily activities and assists with establishing new systems to support program operations. Troubleshoot systems data problems and determine data entry errors versus system problems; interfaces with IT department as necessary.
- Develop and implement data tracking and reporting systems using multiple platforms including Excel, Access, and Oracle Discoverer.
- Prepare statistical reports; recommend and participate in the analysis and interpretation of data as requested.
- Develops, maintains and ensures quality control of databases and assists in the development and implementation of measurement systems for all operational requirements.
- Responsible for accurate data migration from existing systems to newly developed systems as developed and implemented; completes data "clean-up" in preparation of migration and analyzes data post-migration to identify any related transfer problems; correct data deficiencies as needed.
