Data Analyst (MS SQL Server) Wexford

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaison between the business and technology team
- Gather data analytic specific business requirements
- Making sure that the data is there to support the requirements
- Ensure that the preliminary conceptual data models validate business scenarios
- Work closely with testing teams to make sure that the requirements are met

REQUIREMENTS:

- Five years minimum of data quality assessment and data management experience in a corporate or public sector environment
- Qualification in computer science/business information technology, or a comparable qualification with the corresponding professional experience
- Qualification in Environmental Science or a comparable qualification with the corresponding professional experience
- Proven experience of Datamodelling
- Good working knowledge of standard Microsoft platforms specifically; MS SQL Server, CRM Dynamics, and SharePoint
- Good understanding of web services
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Excellent problem solving skills

Support will be required in a number of areas:

- Data architecture principles and guidelines
- Datamodelling: creating models of existing data, analysing models and suggesting to-be models.
- Data infrastructure and management
- Data collection and development of automated data collection and verification tools
- Data migration
- Data quality guidelines, data quality standards and verification of data
