Data Analyst Job

DATA ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client, a gaming company located in Kirkland, WA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Data Analytics and Reporting using Microsoft BI tools
- Big Data Experience
- Web Analytics

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work with business managers to translate ambiguous business questions into quantifiable analytic requests, then answer them using available tools & systems.
- Project manage a prioritized queue of open requests and timelines, escalating conflicts in priority and other risks as appropriate to maintain transparency and manage expectations.
- Develop, track and analyze metrics to yield insights that help us better attract, engage, retain and monetize customers who play our games
- Develop, manage and publish a calendar of recurring weekly, monthly and annual scorecards and reports
- Identify and analyze data conflicts between source systems and data warehouse systems and reconcile conflicting or ambiguous information
- Work with development, test and site production teams to ensure accurate data integration implementation and to improve data quality.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Microsoft BI Analytics skills
- Experience with Big Data
- Three to six (3-6) years of experience in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication skills

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- BA or higher in a technical field
- Gaming passion or experience in analysis as it pertains to games or entertainment
