Data Analyst (JD Edwards or SAP) Job

DATA ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Work with minimal supervision to facilitate management of product life cycle
- Ownership and stewardship of processes and systems related to product setup and launch, pricing, and promotions, as well as product end of life activities.
- Interface with all necessary individuals in Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and other supporting departments in order to ensure timely execution of processes within established guidelines and SOPs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Administer all product setup activities in key commercial systems
- Manage the product life cycle process from a Commercial/Product Marketing perspective, including, but not limited to: product setup, pricing setup, price book creation, promotion setup, data analysis, and product calculator creation and versioning.
- Work with in Marketing, interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Customer Service, Finance, and Sales to ensure products and promotions are available in the proper systems for quoting, forecasting, ordering, shipping, web ordering, etc.
- Perform data entry functions as required by the product life cycle processes
- Assist in training Marketing users to develop core competencies in commercial product life cycle management.
- Insure standard practices and procedures are followed when analysing data.
- Ability to coordinate activities based on given priorities.
- May include other duties as defined by the department Manager.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with JD Edwards or SAP and SFDC required
- Minimum of two - four (2-4) years' experience in a Marketing Operations, Commercial Operations, or Data Analyst role.
- Experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint required; MS Project and Visio a plus
- Experience with Aprimo, QuickBase, and Sharepoint a plus
- Must have excellent data evaluation skills
- Must be team oriented and have excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and skills typically acquired through previous positions in fast-paced corporate environments which involved responsibility for similar work.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or related field
