Data Analyst II

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a DATA ANALYST II to join our client, the world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run validation reports to ensure data integrity
- Manage wholesaler data to ensure data quality
- Analyze sales data for anomalies
- Compare 867 sales data to other data sources to identify discrepancies
- Monitor contract changes to ensure correct and complete contract data
- Analyze and determine root cause and resolution for identified contract data issues
- Design and run regular metric reports
- Produce regular inventory sales reports
- Identify and define proactive data analytics to support the business
- Deliver ongoing ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management
- Translates high volume of data into meaningful information to support key business decisions
- Develops spreadsheet models for moderately complex financial analyses
- Interprets and applies regulations associated with relevant legal issues
- Provides analysis and recommendations to support decisions by team management

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment in data management and analytics highly preferred
- Very strong computer and MS Office skills
- Strong project management skills and leads projects as required

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
