Data Analyst - Forecasting

Capita's key utilities client is currently recruiting for an Excel Forecasting Analyst to work in Gloucester for a 12 month contract. The role has come up due to an increase in workloads and would suit someone who has just left further education or has recently started in their career.

Working closely with excel and team analysts, you will be involved in the following:

- Compile reports on consumption of customers, following approved procedures, models
- Create accurate forecasts for B2B customers, through analysis of historic consumption data;
- Report results to other team members, sales teams and/or customers as directed;
- Contribute to management reporting information;
- Carry out other rotational activities as directed by the Portfolio Volume Manager, under the supervision of other analysts when necessary, for which full training will be provided;
- Effectively interacting with other teams, both to learn and to raise awareness in others;
- Coordinating workload with colleagues and other teams to maximise efficiency;

The role holder will work according to the following principles:

- Ensure all reported data is correct;
- Manage time well to present results within agreed timescales;
- Communicate results concisely and clearly;
- Record work diligently to leave a clear audit trail;
- Demonstrate commendable conduct.
