Projektbeschreibung
Duties will include:
To undertake data collection and analysis required for external flooding incident return period or probability reporting, including:
- Assessment of data suitability;
- Acquisition of rainfall data from external sources such as SEPA or Met Office;
- Analysis and reporting of results, using a range of specified methods and tools.
Experience required:
- Knowledge of basic hydrological processes is essential
- Knowledge of return period analysis and Flood Estimation Handbook is highly desirable
- Degree in relevant science discipline is desirable
- Experience of rainfall monitoring is desirable.
- Good IT skills and experience of working with large data sets are desirable.
